Got to check out Magnetic Fields last night in Oakland at the Fox Theater (3-24-12). I know they are kind of a downer at times, but I love the poetic perfection, irony and wittiness! And truthfulness. My only regret is that Stephin Merritt didn't play ukelele! But it was great anyway. Thanks for coming to town.
